Hello All,
It's been much too long since I've written. Almost a year to the day. Wow. Where did the last year go?
I've had numerous emails from authors and concerned readers who are wondering if we are still publishing. The short answer is yes; the longer answer is more complicated. While I am still taking submissions and have had a new issue waiting in the wings for several months now, my family has taken priority over my ministries and outside projects.
As I've written before, I was in an auto accident in July of 2008. I've spent the last 2 years waiting for time to heal and working on recovery where I can. I still have residual brain injury symptoms that have significantly wiped my editorial eye and leave me with mental fatigue that only allows me to work in short bursts. Because we homeschool, I've used my mental energy to focus on my children which has left little for my writing projects.
When I publish again has more to do with the Lord's timing than mine. But I've always done my best to publish on His schedule. Over the years we've shared a wonderful treasure trove of articles. Until a new issue emerges, please dig into the archives and find a gem or two.
